Arrived with time to kill so visited the Alamo. For somewhere with such cultural and historical importance it's actually quite a small place, unusual in a State known for everything being so huge.
Check in was delayed so we had time to discover cinnamon whisky and make the most of the 50 minutes we had to get ready. Soundcheck was smooth, the venue fantastic and the staff and crowd really friendly, we had a great night.
Sunday we'll spend some time in San Antonio before heading back to Austin and saying goodbye to Tasha who has to head home, great having her here to witness The Last Cry play their first shows in the US.
Sunday night we'll have time off before heading to El Paso for the next show on Tuesday, stopping in Fort Stockton on the way. Our desert adventure starts soon...
